Our 60/2 yarn is 100% pure Eri Silk and is one of the best handweaving yarns. It is a fine-spun lace yarn. It's strong and durable making it the best yarn for weaving or embroidery.  
 
Eri Silk weaving yarn is known for its special properties withs it's low conductivity and thermal properties making it an all-weather yarn. So, whether you’re looking for a summer yarn or winter yarn Eri Silk can play both characters.  

What can you make with this yarn? 

The 60/2 is a dainty lace yarn mainly use for weaving. This 2-ply yarn fine spun yarn can be used as both weft and warp and takes dye beautifully.

What’s it like to work with? 

The yarn is smooth, strong, and very consistent. The yarn is lightweight and gives a beautiful drape to your woven fabric.

    Lovely yarn

    I ordered 3 colours of natural dyed eri silk - sunglow yellow, fern green and monarch orange. The colours are gorgeous - rich and deep. The skeins look like they are evenly dyed. The yarn feels wonderful - the orange is almost as soft as natural undyed eri silk, the green slightly rougher and the yellow the roughest. I can’t wait to weave with this yarn!

    Beautiful, very fine yarn

    The yarn worked beautifully on my rigid heddle loom both for warp and weft. The colours are very pretty- strong but still soft as natural dyes should be. I will be back for more very soon.

    The Very expensive yarn

    Up to now I had to pay a good amount of Import fees gut the yarn has not arrived yet. I am waiting vor several months!
