Great soft silk
I am crocheting a triangular shawl. The silk is great to work with ! I am looking forward to to the finished shawl !
I've just started knitting a summer shirt with the Erida handspun DK in Turtle Green. The silk has a beautifully subtle shine to it and the green color is just what I was hoping for. The yarn itself is very well spun, not too twisty or loose, and very pleasant to knit with. I'm using it with US size 5 needles
and the fabric seems like it will have a lovely drape.
The Eri silk is beautiful and wonderful to work with. Knowing that raising the silkworms and spinning the silk is an old art that is being preserved is extra-special.
I appreciate being able to support this craft. My orders have been filled quickly and have arrived carefully and lovingly packaged.
