Our 60/2 Muga silk has a fine count and is well known for its extreme durability and has a natural yellow-golden tint. Muga silk is glossy and the golden color increases with age. While Muga silk has a natural golden luster and does not need any dyeing, it is still quite compatible with most dyes and absorbs dyes easily.
What can you make with it?
Muga silk with a fine count like our 60/2 is mainly used for weaving for both warp and weft. Embroidery works well with this yarn count too.
What’s it like to work with?
Muga silk is smooth and strong. It isfun to weave with and its natural golden matte color will add a nice touch of elegance to your woven pattern or embroidery art.

We are more excited about your feeling our yarn and creating with it. We don't expect you to be disappointed with the price or the unique Eri silk fiber. If by chance it doesn't work out. Contact us and we will figure out a way for you to return the yarn and we will refund you. Please note we will refund only the product amount. Any amount paid towards shipping is non-refundable. Return shipment will need to be paid by the buyer.
