I ordered 3 colours of natural dyed eri silk - sunglow yellow, fern green and monarch orange. The colours are gorgeous - rich and deep. The skeins look like they are evenly dyed. The yarn feels wonderful - the orange is almost as soft as natural undyed eri silk, the green slightly rougher and the yellow the roughest. I can’t wait to weave with this yarn!

This is gorgeous yarn. The natural muga silk colour is tan with a lovely depth and sheen. The yarn is reasonably soft and light.

This yarn is beautiful. It has a great texture - slightly coarse and yet soft. It’s not as soft as undyed natural eri silk, but it is lovely! The colour is a nice rich deep indigo - not so dark as to be almost black, and not pale and washed out looking. I am really pleased with this yarn and can’t wait to start weaving with it! I love the fiber sampler Pack. I'll try to spin some and melt other with my merinos wool for felting tapestry and so much inspiring projects. Now I need to learn about botanical dying... can't wait !

I've just started knitting a summer shirt with the Erida handspun DK in Turtle Green. The silk has a beautifully subtle shine to it and the green color is just what I was hoping for. The yarn itself is very well spun, not too twisty or loose, and very pleasant to knit with. I'm using it with US size 5 needles and the fabric seems like it will have a lovely drape.
